HMS Duke of Kent was a proposed 170-gun line of battle ship allegedly designed by future Surveyor of the Navy Joseph Tucker in 1809. Such a vessel, if built, would have become the most heavily armed ship of its time.

The design is held by the Science Museum, and a 1:96 model exists in the collection of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. The authenticity of the proposal is disputed, but the ship makes for a fun "what-if" as a ludicrously large and over-armed British 1st rate to give the Trinidad a run for her money!
