It's an interesting issue, and perhaps a discussion topic for TMP: they way they define things, Turnerminiatures is in an odd non-liminal space between manufacturing and retailing miniatures.... They're really showing their age in not opening a new section for design/sculpting.

Another avenue (e.g. with Boardgamegeek) would be to submit branded pictures of painted miniatures in the context of game systems: i.e. on the pages of 'Napoleon's Battles' or Et Sans Resultat.

Part of the opportunity is that many of these historical gaming rulesets have been around a long time (as have their websites).... so it is a benefit to all concerned to generate 'life' and traffic around the application of new figures to an old site.
