- Age of AdmiralsI’m wondering what sort settings, methods, etc. people are using on FDM printers to get the best results. My own results are a bit mixed, but have been improving as I keep fiddling with it. I have a Creality Ender Pro 3 and use the Cura program. I have particular difficulty getting guns to print without looking like mis-shappen blobs. I‘m hopping to get a resin printer for minis next year, in the meantime any one care to share settings or tips? Thanks! chrisLike
- GeneralWhat with Facebook taking down the group (though I'm bombarding their support services and shall continue to do so during the week), it's a good idea to look into alternative hubs for the community. To that end, I've overhauled the Discord server and it should be able to fulfill every function the Facebook group did. It does require, of course, registering with Discord, but you are able to use it online if you don't want to download the client. Do give it a looksie if you're curious :) I'll be pushing it harder should it look like we're not getting the group back.Like
- SuggestionsRe the Facebook shutdown I’d suggest establishing a presence on some older forums: The Miniatures Page BoardgameGeek and Consimworld all of which are smaller and more approachable than Zuck’s monster, but also with a clientele who will find your work of significant interest.Like
